Our Process

Tommy designs and prints every single item by hand in our small studio on the Yorkshire Coast.
We only print what we need when we need it, which keeps costs down, reduces waste and makes space for new colours and designs regularly.
This makes nearly everything limited edition, so you can be sure of something special.
Screen printing is one of the oldest forms of printing, yet it still produces the best quality prints available today.
Ink is pushed through a mesh stencil, allowing it to sink into the garment, producing a flat and smooth finish.
We only use waterbased Soil Association approved inks, which are plastic-free, non-toxic and biodegradable.
Other companies use cheaper mass-producing techniques that involve solvents and plastics.
Quality That Doesn't Cost The Earth
According to the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) more than 300,000 tonnes of clothing end up in UK landfills every year. This needs massively reducing and a good place to start is by buying clothes that are designed to last.
The quest for enduring quality is behind everything we do. Our products use the world’s finest purest cotton and high-grade materials, so invest in the best and enjoy them for many years to come.
We encourage you to care for our products properly and use them for as long as possible.
We never dispose or destroy products, not even prototypes or when prints go wrong. Instead, we sell them at our festival shop as seconds or give them to charity.
