Exchange or return an item for free in the UK within 30 days of your order. This is extended over the festive period (see notices closer to Christmas).
Initiate returns in your account and we’ll refund the postage cost back to you. All exchanges are sent to you at no extra cost.
Regretfully, international customers must pay their own postage to return their items. Returns are not accepted on physical gift cards.

We’ll need your receipt number, which will have been sent by text or email at point of sale. Unfortunately, we can’t process any returns without a receipt, which are always offered to you during the transaction.
Online Returns Process
In our bid to be as eco-friendly as possible, we’ve now scrapped the returns form and freepost label which was sent out with every order. Don’t worry, returns are still free, you just need to log them online in your account before sending them back to us.
Create An Account.
You must have an account to initiate a return or exchange request. If you have checked out as a guest, create an account and contact us if your order hasn’t linked to your new account.
Initiate A Return
Click on ‘Initiate A Return’ in your account. Fill in the details and submit the request. We’ll then be in touch with instructions for how to return your item/s.
Post It Back
Post your item/s back to us and we’ll refund the postage cost back to your original payment method. In circumstances where we need to refund you more than the original amount you paid to us, we’ll give you a gift card in the postage amount to redeem on future purchases.
Refund or Exchange
Once we receive your return we’ll process a refund back to your original payment method, if you requested a refund. If u requested an exchange, we’ll dispatch the new item/s back to your original delivery address at no extra cost to you.

So I have to pay postage right?
Initially yes. We will then refund you the Second Class Royal Mail online postage fee for the return. If you are returning an entire order, we can only refund you the return postage fee to a gift card to redeem on future purchases.
We know the size and weight of each item we sell, this is how we can calculate how much postage to refund you based on the latest Royal Mail prices online. We cannot be held responsible for any further prices incurred, for example, if you package the items incorrectly according to the Royal Mail dimensions or if you choose to return using another parcel service. We ask you retain a Proof of Postage receipt, to show us in the unlikely event it doesn’t reach us. We cannot be held responsible for you not retaining any form of proof of postage with any service.
Please note that all exchanges are subjected to stock availability (please see Retired & Out of Stock paragraphs below) and whilst we endeavour to ship a replacement item(s) back to you, we reserve the right to do an exchange by way of an item(s) of a similar value or providing online shop credit or any other methods at the discretion of Indi Clothing Co.
Items are retired periodically to make way for new designs.
Items which will no longer be printed are in our Clearance section. This means due to stock availability we can’t guarantee exchange requests.
We recommend checking the product page before you return your item/s for exchanges.
If an exchange cannot be made, you may request another item of similar value or a full refund of the item/s will be given to your original payment method.
We will email you if you have made an exchange request and we cannot fulfil it.
Out of Stock Items
As we print our designs in limited quantities, various designs may become out of stock for a period of time.
This means we are working hard to re-print, so please keep checking back to see if your desired item is back in stock.
We announce items back in stock on our social media channels, so please follow us for updates.
If you have made an exchange request and the item is out of stock and not been retired, you may have to wait a small amount of time for us to fulfil this request. We will email you if this is the case. If you cannot wait we will give you a full refund on the item to your original payment method.
A return/exchange initiation can only be made once. No refunds will be given for extra postage fees, taxes, duties, tariffs and excise charges levied for overseas orders either for refunds or exchanged items.
We reserve the right and full discretion to disqualify you from enjoying our returns/exchange policy if the subsequent item(s) for return or exchange are of the same item(s) as a previous order.
Our returns and exchanges policy does not cover damage resulting from unique, accidental, or “act of god” damage.
Indi Clothing Co makes no warranty in respect of any product, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, quality, compliance with description and fitness for a particular purpose.
Such returns are at all times governed by the provisions of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act of the United Kingdom.
All decisions made by Indi Clothing Co are final.
